Redeeming the time.

There is a scripture in the bible that commissions us to walk wisely, redeeming the time or making the most of the time because the days are evil. Therefore, do not be unwise but understand what the will of the Lord is.  Ephesians 5:15-17. We tend to waste precious time dwelling on issues that we have no control over and that we are not able to change.  We become consumed with the negative energies of thoughts of the past.  This becomes a heavy weight that causes us to move slower in our destiny.  Time is wasted with hurt, defeat, anger, bitterness, and feeling sorry for ourselves.   Redeeming the time is us choosing to allow God’s love to heal us and move forward.  One step at a time, one moment at a time, and one day at a time. Not allowing thoughts to have power over us is redeeming time/ making the most of the time.  Know that the will of God is for us to live prosperous lives. Breathe, say a prayer and take one step forward.  Your step may be praying more, writing in your journal, talking to a professional or spiritual counselor, exercising, taking a trip, or just being still before God.  Whatever you are led to do, do it and take that step forward to redeem and make the most of the time.  Don’t give up on yourself but please keep moving forward. Believe that there is a wonderful testimony, a blessing after the pain, the heartache, the disappointments, and the letdowns. Your rainbow after the storm will appear soon. Just don’t stop believing, and don’t stop moving forward.
